Days Leading Up to Us Leaving

We got up and spent hours at the zoo after lunch. It was super cool and I got tons of good pictures. We went to the roundtable pizza (delicious) this was all in Tacoma. It was a real fun day.

Sunday, February 14^th, 2010 (Valentine’s Day!)

Made yummy chicken enchiladas (Usually I don’t like these at all!) and went to church. We came home, ate our farewell dinner with brownies covered in caramel and marshmallows. Next we are going to take pictures at the Seattle Temple. When we get back we will do a scavenger hunt for our present (they got me one!) and go to a celestial dating fireside. 

*Chicken Enchiladas- Cream of mushroom soup, green onions, chicken, sour cream, water. Yummy and can even be healthy. We leave Tuesday!!!

Marriage can be a challenge. Communication. Work on yourself first.

3 Qualifications

1.       Watched 2 marriages (fail or flourish idk)

2.        Been married 36 years

3.       Called to speak on Celestial Relationships.

Sealing Covenant- spiritual side should work more than the physical. Spiritual intimacy should be worked on start where your and build yourself up. Be constantly working on it. In church- organize families and in families organize Zion.

Principles of laws of celestial kingdom help build Zion. Isaiah talks about Zion in chapter 51: 1-2.

Telestial vs Celestial Relationships- which one do you have or want?

Defines how they serve God. Rock- usually God or Christ. In 51:1 rock- Abraham and Sarah- half siblings- same father different mother.

Tongue of Kindness- I need to work on this. Forget hatred and bitterness. Temples and those that attend not just those that hold a recommend. It comes from the heart. Change your heart- repent. It hurst to change your hearts. Abraham 2:23.

1.       Sacrifice our will for God’s. D& C 97:8. Charitable, our personal agendas need to be right, constant ability, behavior that drives spirit away, lustful desires, “distractions”

Strive to build everything from where we are.  Me being the only member in the family, $, give what you have. Callings- teach children to sacrifice. Abraham 2. Sacrifices you give up you will be blessed for if your obedient with a good attitude live up to the name we get from the Lord. Joy.

2.       Obedience to God 2^nd Principle Abraham 1:2. Go now do what’s right. Persuasion, kindness, love, obedience. Celestial Relationships. We shouldn’t have to remind them to do what is right.  D& C 84- seek to find answers. Covenant of faith. Holy Ghost is under- utilized- safe, guides, steers. Hold hands with God. Be His best friend. Abraham 2:9? Ours there for the taking. Be FORGIVING! God forgives in an instant. If God is willing why shouldn’t we be? Don’t hold a grudge, overcome evil.

3.       Leads us to the heavens- celestial relationship. D& C 105:5 Keys to celestial relations not teletial ones.  Hearts united with common purpose. Sacrifice will be lots easier. Filled with mercy towards one another. Loyalty reserve time for them. Include not exclude. Don’t be dishonest. Talk especially about money. I was not raised by righteous parents. Get over it! Atonement is about changing your heart. Nothing is too hard for the Lord. Follow the Lord no matter the circumstance.  Unitedly seek Lord’s council. Experience sweetness of the H.G.  Joining of hearts. Destiny. We want same blessings. No list of things. Process of searching your potential. Lord is seeing what you can take. He is trying to build us stronger. John 4- women at well. How will we act when we see the Savior? Fall to knees or not recognize Him? Atonement will overcome all things. Family is the unit that moves us to eternity.
